As a growing, venture backed technology company providing leading Invoice-to-Pay solutions to companies globally, we are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Development team, headed by our CTO.
The Development team is responsible for the development of the Cevinio application (back-end and front-end), system integrations and technical work on the supplier on-boarding. In addition, the Development team supports internal IT infrastructure and works together with AWS, where we are running our cloud platform. The development projects work according SCRUM with sprints of 2 weeks, depending of the team.

About your job

  • You will optimize our Docker cluster setup to keep our services up and running Scaling our ever-growing platform.
  • You will keep the infrastructure maintained as a code.
  • You will take a lead role in implementation and maintenance of system health, monitoring and alerting.
  • You will work closely with our Product and Development team to architecture and develop first-class infrastructure components.
  • You will extend and maintain our automated deployment and testing pipelines.
  • You will build tooling that makes developers happy.
  • You will work together with developers to figure out the best software to use, how to deploy it.
  • You will participate in daily huddles and weekly progress meetings.

About you

  • You have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
  • You have at least 2 years of progressive DevOps experience.
  • You have good verbal and written skills in English.
  • You have experience with Cloud providers; hands-on AZURE and AWS is a plus.
  • You have experience with Docker to support microservice-architectures.
  • You possess good scripts skills in Bash; Python/Go are a plus.
  • You have knowledge of Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, Cloud formation or similar technology.
  • You have a great understanding of the full web technology.
  • You communicate effectively and asynchronously.
  • You have a security mindset and interest.
  • You have interest in continuous delivery and integration.
  • You care about the things that affect the company, your team, and yourself.
  • You are located in The Netherlands or Spain.
  • You have a good understanding of our business and the work we perform or able to understand this in a short time.
  • You are able to work systematically, taking strategy as starting point focusing on the company’s BEST-Core Values (Be Loved, Exceed Expectations, Smart Innovation, Team Up), results and engagement.
