As a growing, venture backed technology company providing leading Invoice-to-Pay solutions to companies globally, we are seeking a Technical Writer. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the product documentation set. You will be working together with different roles across the company, and helping Cevinio experts by capturing their knowledge and making it available through the modern knowledge base. Smart knowledge management is crucial for the company’s activities, so you will play an important role in business growth and customer success.
ABOUT YOUR JOB
You will create different types of product-level documents including, but not limited to, the product descriptions, user manuals, configuration guides and specifications.
You will participate in improving the documentation approach and documentation processes in the company.
You will review and improve the content of the knowledge base.
You will contribute to the establishment of the effective knowledge management culture and tools in the company.
You will become a part of the growing team, inspired by the idea of continuous improvements and with very practical work approach.
Minimum bachelor’s degree. A degree in IT or relevant areas would be an advantage.
At least 3 years’ experience working in technical writing or business analysis, in a software development or other IT environment.
The ability to convey complex concepts, processes, and procedures for a wide range of audiences.
Proactive personality with strong communication skills.
Ability to smartly manage involvement of the subject matter experts and consultants.
The following are advantageous:
Experience developing user assistance within a user-focused, task-oriented paradigm.
Experience working on topic-oriented documentation using DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture) or similar architectures.
Experience using help authoring tools such as Help & Manual, Oxygen XML Author, or MadCap Flare.
Experience in working in a multinational company with remote colleagues and subject matter experts.
Applicants will be expected to provide examples of technical documentation for which they have been primarily responsible.
